Kitchen cabinet installation in Ottawa
Professional assembly and installation for IKEA, RONA and Home Depot kitchens — plus the plumbing, electrical, backsplash and flooring work that finishes the job.
You picked the kitchen. We'll build it right.
Flat-pack and big-box kitchens from IKEA, RONA and Home Depot offer great value, but they arrive as hundreds of boxes, panels and hinges. Getting them level, square and solidly anchored to walls that are rarely straight takes skill and patience. That's where we come in.
The same team that has been renovating Ottawa bathrooms for many years now assembles and installs complete kitchens. We handle the cabinets and everything around them: moving a sink line, adding a circuit, venting your range hood, tiling the backsplash and laying the new floor. All plumbing and electrical work is done by licensed trades, and every job comes with our 3-year workmanship warranty.
One team, one schedule, one point of contact — and a clean kitchen at the end of every day.
Why hire a pro for your store-bought kitchen
It goes in level and square. Cabinets set on an uneven floor or a crooked wall lead to doors that won't close and countertops that crack. We shim, scribe and anchor every box properly.
Everything fits together. Sink, dishwasher, range hood, outlets and lighting are planned around your cabinet layout before we start.
Safe and up to code. Plumbing and electrical work is done by licensed trades, with permits and ESA inspection where required.
No lost weekends. A typical IKEA kitchen is 150+ boxes. Our crew assembles and installs in days, not months of evenings.
Our kitchen services
We assemble and install kitchens from IKEA (SEKTION/ENHET), RONA, Home Depot and other ready-to-assemble brands. We check your delivery against the order, assemble every box, drawer and door, then level and anchor the cabinets to the wall. We finish with cover panels, fillers, toe kicks, crown moulding, handles and door adjustments.
We can also install islands, pantry walls, open shelving and under-cabinet lighting.
From classic subway tile to herringbone, zellige and large-format porcelain, we install backsplashes with clean cuts around outlets and windows, tight grout lines and properly sealed edges. We can also remove your old backsplash and repair the drywall behind it.
A new layout often means moving things. Our licensed plumbers and electricians handle:
Plumbing: sink relocation, new water and drain lines, faucet hookup, dishwasher and fridge water line connection
Electrical: new dedicated circuits for appliances, moving or adding outlets, pot lights, pendant and under-cabinet lighting — with ESA permit and inspection
Ductwork: range hood venting to the exterior, rerouting heating ducts and relocating floor or toe-kick registers that conflict with the new cabinets
We remove the old floor, prepare and level the subfloor, and install luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate or porcelain tile. Ideally the floor goes in before the cabinets for the cleanest finish — we'll plan the right sequence with you.
Your cabinets and finishes
You buy the kitchen; we build it. Purchase your cabinets and finishes directly from IKEA, RONA, Home Depot or your supplier of choice - you keep full control over style and budget, and the store's product warranty stays with you. We're happy to review your kitchen plan before you order, to catch measuring or layout problems while they're still free to fix.
You'll need to purchase:
Cabinets, doors, drawer fronts and interior fittings
Cover panels, fillers, toe kicks and mouldings
Handles and knobs
Sink and faucet
Backsplash tile (if included)
Flooring (if included)
Optional items:
Under-cabinet and pendant light fixtures
Range hood
Garbage disposal
Pull-out organizers and drawer inserts
Open shelving
Countertops: laminate countertops can be installed with your cabinets. For quartz or stone, we install the cabinets first, then your countertop supplier templates and installs — we'll coordinate the timing with them.

Replacing cabinets in the same layout usually doesn't need a building permit. New electrical circuits require an ESA notification and inspection, and moving walls or plumbing may require a City of Ottawa building permit. We'll tell you what applies and help with the applications.

In most cases, before. A continuous floor under the cabinets looks cleaner and makes future layout changes easier. With floating floors like LVP, the cabinets sometimes go in first — we'll recommend the right order for your materials.

Assembly and installation of a typical 10' x 10' kitchen takes 3–5 days. Plumbing, electrical, flooring and backsplash add a few days. Countertop templating and fabrication usually take 1–2 weeks after the cabinets are in.
